Have you ever wondered what it is like to own a farm? Do you want to give up the rat race and move to the country? Do you dream of the sound of birds singing, cows mooing and donkeys braying? If you answered yes to any of these, why not try one of our farm experience days? Chuck off your work clothes, put on your oldest jeans and wellies and come and join us in a typical day's work. Who needs the gym when you can do real exercise?

You could end up doing all or some of the following :

Feeding cows, donkeys, goats, alpacas, pigs or ponies
Stud work
Calving or foaling
Mucking out
Hay making
Worming, vaccinating or helping when the vet comes
Handling foals
Picking out feet
Grooming
Show preparation

Our days are never the same, so we cannot be too sure what will happen on any day.

Full days are available on weekdays only, not Thursdays. We start at 10 AM and finish at 3.30 PM

If you can only manage a Saturday, then we offer half days, 9.00 AM until 12.30 PM.

By the end of the day you will be very tired, but hopefully happy. We can only take a maximum of 2 people a day, or come alone, we are a friendly bunch! Bring your own lunch, lots of carbs to keep you going. Children from 10 years are welcome on the half days and must be accompanied by an adult.

We can offer advice about accommodation locally, or bring your caravan or motorhome and park on our Certified Location (Caravan Club members only).
